The Mardi Himal Trek is a short, scenic, and less-crowded alternative to the classic Annapurna trails, leading through peaceful rhododendron forests and open ridgelines to a dramatic base camp beneath Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain). The journey combines cultural sightseeing in Kathmandu and Pokhara with a moderate Himalayan trek offering close-up views of the Annapurna Range, Hiunchuli, and Mardi Himal, along with Gurung village culture, lakeside relaxation, and iconic Pokhara viewpoints.
