A Sacred Pilgrimage Through Nepal's Untouched Far-West
The Badimalika Trek is a remote, off-the-beaten-path journey to one of Nepal's most revered Shakti Peeth shrines, set amid vast open grasslands often called the "Switzerland of Nepal." Passing through the little-visited district of Bajura, the route offers authentic encounters with Far-Western hill culture, traditional Deuda and Hurra dance, dense pine and oak forests, and sweeping high-altitude meadows, culminating at Badimalika Temple with panoramic Himalayan views. With very limited lodges along the way, the trek runs on full-board tent camping, making it a true wilderness and cultural pilgrimage experience for adventurous trekkers.
